Your Environmental Footprint (Paperback) PRE-ORDER

$18.99

Our planet is on the brink of a severe environmental crisis facing worldwide environmental concerns: global warming, melting ice caps, air and water pollution, and waste disposal (to name a few!).

As inhabitants of Earth, we have both the power to make it flourish and also to lead it to its demise—sustainability has never been more important! Sustainability is about the preservation of resources. However, in addition to natural resources, we need social and economic resources too. Today, every country in the world is seeking ways of meeting their development needs, but with the increasing threat of climate change, concrete efforts must be taken to ensure that development today does not negatively affect the health of our planet and of future generations.

At the rate we are going at, current environmental problems make us all more vulnerable with each passing day to natural disasters and tragedies, calling for the need to not only live more sustainably, but also to contribute to global, more wide-scale level transformation.

In this book, we will explore how individuals (that’s right, we’re talking about you!) and communities can adopt sustainable initiatives in the facets of Food, Beverage, and Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Life Sciences; Industrial Manufacturing; Transportation; and Energy, Natural Resources, and Chemicals to leave a lasting impact on the heath of the Earth and future generations.

The content of Your Environmental Footprint stems from the curriculum distributed by Fulphil, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has created engaging and fun trajectory-changing educational content for thousands of youth nationally to empower them to succeed in their careers and make a positive impact in the world. The very content of this book has been used in classrooms across the country in conjunction with Fulphil’s premier social entrepreneurship course, and now, published book, Build With Impact.
