Why FYC exists
The education gap is real.
Educational and career achievements for youth in lowest SES quartile are far below that of youth in the highest quartile.
Youth in lowest SES are more likely to be underserved, undereducated, and under-resourced, all of which amounts to entrapment into the unending cycles of generational poverty that affect so many communities today.
Entrepreneurship empowers
For resilient communities, entrepreneurship is not an option, it’s a livelihood.
Entrepreneurship not only builds technical and career readiness but also fundamentally transforms the way students think. And when it comes to social entrepreneurship, students we’re now empowering the people closest to the problems to become closest to the solutions.
