Who is eligible to participate?

Any student in middle and high school are welcome to compete.

Do I need a team or can I compete solo?

You are welcome to compete as a team or to compete individually. All that matters is that you have an idea and a vision to present to the world.

What prizes are up for grabs?

Participants with the best three ideas submitted in each challenge category will receive cash prizes. Our hope is that our top contestants will use these funds to seed their big ideas and venture forward to change their communities and the world.

What are the important dates?

Applications for the first round open on March 23, 2022 and close on April 19, 2022, after which the first round entries will be assessed.

The finalists will be announced on April 25, 2022 and asked to prepare a 5-minute shark-tank styled pitch with 3 minutes of Q&A. Final pitches will take place on May 6, 2021 (more details TBA).

What kind of help is fair game?

You may seek guidance for your application from your teachers, mentors, or even our own Fulphil team during office hours every Friday leading up to our Application deadline (see main page for logistical details).

What do I need for my application?

To be considered for the first round, you will need to submit the following:

  1. Pitch Deck

  2. Summary of business plan (must outline the problem and solution, market sizing, competition analysis, and plans for funds usage)

How will pitches be judged?

Pitches will be judged according to a pre-set but flexible criteria by top entrepreneurs, VC leaders, and corporate executives across the country (see challenge main page for more details).

What kind of networking opportunities will I have?

There will be opportunities to connect with, ask and answer questions from, and listen to industry and entrepreneurial leaders, mentors, and peer entrepreneurs (more details to come).

What is Fulphil and why are you doing this?

Fulphil is a 501(c)3 non-profit that seeks to empower youth with social entrepreneurship education to gain more awareness of and solve their communities’ social challenges in their own innovative and unique ways. Entrepreneurship is a powerful tool to make sustainable and impactful changes that benefit those around us and the world at large. Every entrepreneur has to pitch at some point, so starting young gives an unequaled advantage!
